What is an entrepreneur?
An entrepreneur is a person who has possession over a company, enterprise, or venture, and assumes significant accountability for the inherent risks and the outcome. The term is a loanword from French and was first defined by the Irish economist Richard Cantillon. Entrepreneur in English is a term applied to the type of personality who is willing to take upon herself or himself a new venture or enterprise and accepts full responsibility for the outcome. In common understanding it is taken as describing a dynamic personality.

"I view entrepreneurship as an exciting challenge in our global economy and as a way to convert my imagination into reality. My first year was a rewarding experience and I learned so much from both members and guest speakers. The Club is a great chance for people to share their ideas and to be inspired by a variety of leaders, as it also encourages students to use their talents as means of improving the lives of others. I feel that the club offers many amazing opportunities while its growth will help many students fulfill their dreams."
