Mission and Vision

Mission

The undergraduate Entrepreneurship Club at Notre Dame exists to improve the futures of its members and other growing individuals through a ground-up, holistic, and fun approach to business, leadership, and entrepreneurship. The organization is dedicated to facilitating each member's personal and professional growth as well as contributing to the overall quality of the Notre Dame community. This can be achieved through various entrepreneurial activities. Members will acquire knowledge from expert speakers, Irish Angels mentoring sessions, national conferences, seminars, best-selling business books, case studies, SWOT analysis, networking dinners, among other activities. This knowledge will then be extrapolated in fun and competitive settings at the club, campus (Gigot Business Plan Competition), regional, national, and international levels throughout each year. The Entrepreneurship Club hopes to represent the Irish while capturing the "Spirit of Notre Dame" through its undying commitment to excellence and passion to make each other better through cultivating a championship team atmosphere.

Original Vision

The Entrepreneurship Club aims to build a sustaining and flourishing organization reflective of the entrepreneurial spirit - innovative, nimble, adaptive, productive, and personal. The Entrepreneurship Club will be dedicated to uniting the Notre Dame entrepreneurial community in the future. We will strive to establish a network whereby undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, Irish Angels, employers, the surrounding community, and other leaders can continually interact to learn from each other while building mutually beneficial and enduring relationships.

Why Entrepreneurship Society?

"I view entrepreneurship as an exciting challenge in our global economy and as a way to convert my imagination into reality. My first year was a rewarding experience and I learned so much from both members and guest speakers. The Club is a great chance for people to share their ideas and to be inspired by a variety of leaders, as it also encourages students to use their talents as means of improving the lives of others. I feel that the club offers many amazing opportunities while its growth will help many students fulfill their dreams."
