NDES Merchandising

Born out of a strategic partnership with Diane Stover, the enthusiastic entrepreneur and Vice President of Marketing at Memorial Health System, NDES Merchandising is a Notre Dame Entrepreneurship Society start-up that will serve to raise funds for the society, as well as provide students with the opportunity to devise and execute detailed marketing strategies, manage inventories, practice persuasive selling, and lead others in an entrepreneurial setting.

Designed to provide hands-on learning opportunities for scholars of any discipline, this start-up incorporates the marketing and selling of simple products with the administrative aspects of running a business, which will prove useful to students in their future work environments.

NDES Merchandising will also serve as a platform for students to interact with businesses outside the university in a professional manner, allowing them to better develop their confidence and communication skills in a business setting.

Why Entrepreneurship Society?

"The Entrepreneurship Society has given me the confidence to know that I can run with the big dogs in the world of business. The electric atmosphere and dynamic people involved make it a great place to learn about and develop entrepreneurship and leadership skills. I feel that the structure of the organization keeps members involved and allows even the greenest members to make a meaningful contribution to the larger group while gaining knowledge and experience on a personal level."
